We design and manufacture SINTER appliances, which is a combined system of breaking and sectioning functions. It is housed in a SF6-insulated enclosure.
The breaking function is ensured by vacuum bottles. The reduced energy required to extinguish the arc allows for reaching a long-lasting electrical life (10,000 rated breaking current operations).
The whole set of active components (switch and line switch disconnector) is contained in a sturdy stainless steel structure containing SF6 gas (highly dielectric). 6 insulating bushings and the control device are fastened to this sealed structure. This compact structure ensures sturdiness and reliability over time. The Sinter is also equipped with an air-insulated earth switch.
The SF6 insulation helps reduce the size of the MV panels with switch having a width of 500 mm, our NVB/R, NVBR/CA cubicles.
The Sinter is ENEL-approved in compliance with the DY800 standard.
